"When I heard 'actress Rajsi Verma with Kenith Rai,' my first thought was friction. Fire and ice. But when I saw them rehearse, I realized they are both fire. Just different temperatures. Rajsi burns bright and fast. Kenith burns slow and deep. Together, they melt the screen."

Mehra also reveals that the script was re-written three times to accommodate the unexpected layers the duo brought. "There is a monologue in the third act that was originally one page. After watching them work, I expanded it to four pages. Rajsi delivers it while Kenith listens. It is the best work of both their careers."
