Bacaan Talqin Mayit Arab !full! Site

In a quiet village tucked between the rolling hills of Java, the air was thick with the scent of damp earth and frangipani. The sun was beginning to dip, casting long, amber shadows over the communal graveyard where the villagers had gathered. They stood in a solemn circle around a freshly dug grave, the final resting place of Haji Mansur, a man whose wisdom had been the village’s heartbeat for decades.

As the last shovelful of soil was smoothed over, a heavy silence fell. Then, the village Imam, Ustaz Hamdan, knelt at the head of the grave. He leaned in close to the earth, as if whispering a secret to an old friend. In a voice that was steady yet laden with emotion, he began to recite the Talqin.

"لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ," he began, the Arabic words flowing like a calm river. (There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.)

He continued with the traditional exhortation, speaking directly to the soul of the departed:

(O servant of Allah, son of a handmaid of Allah, remember the covenant upon which you left this world...)

The villagers listened, many with heads bowed, as the Ustaz reminded the departed—and the living—of the three fundamental questions of the grave. He spoke of the oneness of God, the truth of the Prophet, and the guidance of the Quran.

"When the two angels, Munkar and Nakir, come to you," the Ustaz whispered, "do not be afraid. Answer them with a firm heart: اللهُ رَبِّي (Allah is my Lord), وَالإِسْلَامُ دِينِي (Islam is my religion), وَمُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيِّي (and Muhammad is my Prophet)." bacaan talqin mayit arab

The recitation wasn't just for Haji Mansur; it was a mirror for everyone standing there. To the young men, it was a reminder of life’s fleeting nature. To the elders, it was a source of hope. As the final "Ameen" echoed through the trees, the crowd began to disperse, leaving the grave in the peaceful embrace of the evening. They walked away not just with sadness, but with the rhythmic echo of the Talqin in their hearts, a steady reminder of the journey that awaits every soul.

3. Doa Penutup

Part 3: The Affirmation

Instruct the deceased on how to answer the angels.

Transliteration: Wa annaka raḍīta billāhi rabban, wabil-islāmi dīnan, wa bi-Muḥammadin ṣallallāhu ‘alaihi wa sallama nabiyyan, wabil-Qurāni imāman, wabil-Ka‘bati qiblatan, wabil-muminīna ikhwānan.

Translation: "And that you are content with Allah as your Lord, with Islam as your religion, with Muhammad (peace be upon him) as your Prophet, with the Quran as your guide, with the Ka'bah as your direction of prayer, and with the believers as your brothers." Apakah Talqin Juga Dibaca Saat Jenazah Belum Dikubur?

The Verdict of the Heart

Whether you view Talqin Mayit as a beautiful mercy or a problematic addition, one cannot deny its poetry. When the gravediggers lean in and whisper "Remember... La ilaha illallah," they are not just teaching a dead man. They are reminding themselves of the only luggage they will carry into their own dark, narrow grave.

In the end, the grave is a door. The Talqin is not the key—faith is. But for those left behind, it is a gentle knock of love.

Note for the reader: If you attend a Janazah where Talqin is performed, listen to the Arabic with respect. If you attend one where it is omitted, know that silence is also a form of worship. The dead, as the Prophet said, are like a drowning man; they need our dua (supplication)—not our volume.

Hukum Membaca Talqin Mayit

Muslim). Part 3: The Affirmation Instruct the deceased on

Doa Setelah Talqin Mayit (Arab dan Latin)

Setelah selesai bacaan talqin, dianjurkan membaca doa berikut:

Allahumma tsabbit-hu bil qoulits tsabit, wa a’idz-hu min ‘adzaabil qabri wa fitnatih.

(Bismillahir rahmanir rahim, alhamdulillahi rabbil 'alamin...)
