4. Licensing for Vegetius (SS3)

• SELECTseries 3 licenses are typically version-locked.

For Windows 7 / 10 (compatibility mode may be needed on Windows 10/11)

   • Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7.
   • Check "Run this program as an administrator".
   • Click Apply and OK.
3. Run the installer.
4. Product Selection: Select MicroStation.
5. Destination: Install to the default path (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i...).
   • Note: Do NOT change the install path unless necessary. License patchers often look for the default directory.
6. Prerequisites: The installer will ask to install prerequisites (C++ runtimes, .NET Framework 3.5). Allow this. If it fails on Windows 10/11, you may need to enable .NET Framework 3.5 via "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Control Panel manually.
