Enable Mode 1 (Loads data synchronously – prevents audio skipping in cheat menus).
Enable Mode 6 (Disables IGR – In-Game Reset – which conflicts with V101’s code engine).

Step 3: Install via PFS HDD (The Pro Way) Using a PC with HDD Raw Copy Tool, transfer the patched ISO directly to a PS2-formatted internal HDD. This yields the "extra quality" – zero loading stutters and immediate code activation.

Step 4: The USB Fallback (Lower Quality) If you don’t have an HDD, you can use a USB drive. Note: USB 1.1 on PS2 is slow. To achieve relative quality:

Use a 2.0 drive in a 1.1 port (strangely, older 2GB drives work best).
Defragment the ISO using Defraggler before writing.
Do not use a USB hub; plug directly into Port 1.
