Cygnus VST — Helpful Overview
Dual Tracking
For wide rhythm guitars:
- Track left: Cygnus (Deep On, Mid 10 o’clock)
- Track right: Cygnus (Deep Off, Mid 12 o’clock)
- Pan hard L/R
2. Download & Installation
- Go to the official Ignite Amps website (or trusted archive like KVR Audio).
- Find Cygnus (usually under "Audio Plugins").
- Download the correct version for your OS:
- Windows:
.exeinstaller (choose 32 or 64-bit) - macOS:
.pkgor.dmg
- Windows:
- Run the installer. It will place the
.dll(Windows) or.vst/.component(macOS) files in your default VST folder. - Rescan plugins in your DAW (Reaper, Cubase, Ableton, FL Studio, etc.).
Note: You also need a cabinet simulator (Impulse Response loader) because Cygnus does not include a power amp or speaker simulation. Ignite Amps’ NadIR is the recommended companion. cygnus vst
