SlimThug focused heavily on making the world feel alive and different from the original game.

  • Weapon Physics: The gunplay is overhauled with new weapon models, realistic muzzle flashes, and improved targeting reticles. The sound effects for guns are punchier, giving firefights a more dangerous feel.
  • The Skybox & Weather: The mod often includes custom skyboxes and weather cycles, creating dramatic sunsets and moody, overcast days that highlight the new lighting engine.
  • Hud & UI: The traditional HUD is often tweaked or replaced with cleaner, more minimalist designs that take up less screen space, mimicking the UI style of GTA IV.
