Eclipse Avng01 Language Change [better] Today
Review: Eclipse AVNG01 Language Change
Windows:
C:\AVNG01\eclipse.exe -nl en_US
Step 1: Find the Settings Icon
On most Eclipse AVN units (including the AVNG01 series), the interface is Android-based. Look for the gear icon ⚙️ — it’s the universal symbol for Settings.
- If you can’t see it on the home screen, swipe down from the top (notification shade) and look for a gear there.
- Some units have a physical “SETUP” or “MENU” button on the bezel.
Verifying the Change
After performing an eclipse avng01 language change, verify it by: eclipse avng01 language change
- Opening Help > About Eclipse AVNG01 – the copyright and license text should be in the new language.
- Checking Window > Preferences – menu labels should be translated.
- Opening a
.arxml or .dbc file – tooltips must appear in the target language.
Issue 2: Mixed English and Target Language
- Cause: Incomplete language packs.
- Solution: Download the correct Babel Language Pack from Eclipse’s Babel project and drop it into the
dropins/ folder.
