Here’s a useful GameShark code feature for Front Mission 3 that lets you unlock all weapons (including secret/shop items) in your inventory, sorted by type.

These codes are for the US version (SLUS-01097) — if you’re using a different version, addresses will shift.

Code Group 4: Specific "All Weapons" Modifiers (Advanced)

Sometimes you don't want everything — just the best tools. These codes let you target specific categories by weapon type.

The Ethical Sandbox: Why Veterans Still Use These Codes

Some purists argue that GameShark codes ruin the "wander" of Front Mission 3 — the joy of discovering a rare Atsushi SG from a downed enemy commander. And they're correct, for a first playthrough.

However, for the 2024-2025 player revisiting this classic, the "all weapons" code provides something the original developers never intended: pure creative freedom. You can now build a squad of four Wanzers armed exclusively with shotgun-GR combos. You can give a missile backpack to a melee specialist. You can test damage formulas on the training map without spending 40 hours farming. front+mission+3+gameshark+codes+all+weapon

The codes listed here are the result of the community's 20+ years of reverse-engineering Front Mission 3's memory map. They are safe, effective, and transform the game from a grindy tactical sim into a sprawling mecha combat sandbox.

Part 3: The Master Code – Required First

For any GameShark code to function on Front Mission 3, you must enable the Master Code. Without this, the weapon codes will not activate.

Master Code (NTSC-U):

800A1824 2402
800A1826 0000
D00A1824 2401
800A1824 2400

Enter these four lines together. Some GameShark versions require only the first two. If you experience crashes, try disabling the bottom two. Here’s a useful GameShark code feature for Front

Problem: This doesn’t work on PAL version.

Solution: Convert codes using a tool like “PAL to NTSC” – the memory offsets differ. Look for “Front Mission 3 (Europe) Gameshark” codes separately.

2.3 All Shotguns (SG)

8005B466 FFFF

  2. Write the weapon ID in hex.
  3. Write FF in the next byte for quantity.
  4. Save state.

How to Enter These Codes Correctly

On Original PlayStation with a GameShark CD:

  1. Boot the GameShark disc.
  2. Select "Enter New Code."
  3. Name the code (e.g., "All Weapons FM3").
  4. Type the Master Code first. Press Start to save.
  5. Type the "All Hand Weapons" and "All Shoulder" codes as separate entries.
  6. Select "Start Game" and insert your Front Mission 3 disc.

On DuckStation / ePSXe (Most Common Today):

  1. Load your game.
  2. Open the Cheats menu.
  3. Click "Add Cheat" -> "Manual Input."
  4. Paste the Master Code block as one cheat.
  5. Paste each weapon code as separate cheat entries.
  6. Check the box to activate them.
  7. Resume your save file and visit the Hangar.

A critical warning: Do not leave all weapon codes active while saving. After you've confirmed the weapons are in your inventory, save the game, then disable the codes. Leaving them active can cause memory conflicts with shop inventories or enemy loadouts later in the game.
