Issue: You type /sit but nothing happens.
Fix: You are either too far from a functional chair, or the room has "Force Stand" enabled. Buy a "Sit Anywhere" badge or product from the shop.
Issue: /whisper shows up as normal chat.
Fix: You have "Simplified Chat" enabled in Accessibility settings. Disable it to see whisper range.
Issue: /kick [name] says "Permission denied."

In IMVU Classic especially, you can trigger certain product actions using commands if the product supports them:
/pose <name> – Attempts to activate a named pose from your current outfit./anim <number> – Some advanced avatars/clothing have built-in animations triggered this way.⚠️ Not all products support these; check product descriptions.
Sometimes you need to zoom out for a room screenshot, or zoom in to inspect a texture. These commands override your mouse scroll.

Warning: Using extreme /zoom values (like 50) can cause graphical clipping where you see outside the room walls.
