6. Known Issues & Workarounds

Issue #1045: After an unexpected power loss, the second Ethernet interface (eth1) may fail to negotiate 1 Gbps.
Workaround: Run oc2-net reset --phy=1 post-boot. Fixed in v1.0.1 (planned April).
Issue #1089: The built-in web dashboard loads slowly when more than 50 concurrent sessions are active.
Workaround: Use the gRPC API for dashboards; downgrade to 25 sessions for the web UI. Issue #1045: After an unexpected power loss, the
Issue #1102: SNMPv3 traps with AES256 fail authentication if the engine ID is not manually set.

2.2 Enhanced Cryptographic Core

All TLS 1.2 sessions are now forcibly migrated to TLS 1.3. The update also enables hardware-accelerated AES-256-GCM using the onboard cryptographic co-processor, which was previously idle. As a result, secure tunnel establishment is 40% faster.

2.3 Memory Partitioning (MPU v3)

The OC2 architecture implements ARM TrustZone-based memory partitioning. User-space applications can no longer access I/O buffers directly. Two critical CVEs (CVE-2024-4421 and CVE-2024-4422) are patched exclusively in this version.
