This new driver, known only by his handle "Hoodlum", has been causing trouble on the streets, and Mauler wants you to help him take him down.
The Story Begins: You arrive at Mauler's shop, where you find him fuming about a recent racing incident. He tells you that Hoodlum has been racing recklessly, pushing the limits of what's acceptable on the streets, and disrespecting the other drivers. Mauler wants you to help him show Hoodlum who's boss.

6.3 Obsolescence of the Original Need
Since 2022, GOG.com has sold NFSU2 as a DRM-free version, and abandoned physical copies can be legally discarded. Thus, the Hoodlum crack is now largely obsolete for ethical users.
