Option C: Abandonware Archives (Gray Area)

Some sites like MyAbandonware or Archive.org host older copies of Pocket Tanks Deluxe from 2006–2010. These versions run on Windows XP/7 and have exactly 500 weapons (no newer packs). Legally gray, but functionally free.

Before you rush off, understand the real dangers.

Step 4: Verify You Have 500 Weapons

Go to Options > Weapon Packs. You should see a long list:

Pack 1 – Base Weapons
Pack 2 – Mortar Pack (unlocked)
Pack 3 – Bouncy Pack
...
Pack 15 – MIRV Mania Count the total weapons in the in-game library (usually on the main menu). It should read "500+" or "available: 540".
