What is Polytrack?
Polytrack is a free, open-source, web-based dashboard for visualizing real-time and historical market data from Polygon.io. Hosted at polytrack.github.io, it provides a clean, interactive interface to track stocks, indices, forex, and crypto without needing to build your own frontend.
Think of it as a lightweight, customizable "Bloomberg-lite" terminal for developers and traders who already use or want to test Polygon.io’s data APIs. polytrack github io
Integration tips
- Use AudioContext.currentTime + small lookahead for reliable scheduling.
- Keep UI updates separate from audio scheduling; use engine.on('step') to sync visuals.
- For MIDI output, map note names to MIDI numbers and send via Web MIDI API.
- Implement saving/loading patterns as JSON for persistence.
