Depending on how you handle the shooting cliffhanger in 0.12, you will either wake up in a hospital bed under police guard (Lawful path) or in a criminal safehouse (Corrupt path). Visual and Audio Design

Let’s talk about aesthetics. The renders in Version 0.12 have received a noticeable upgrade. The developers have switched to a new lighting engine that handles ray-tracing for static shots. The result is that Veridian City feels alive. Rain slicks the asphalt, neon signs flicker realistically, and characters’ expressions in the "secret desires" scenes are far more nuanced.

The voice acting remains partial (only key emotional scenes are voiced), but the sound design is impeccable. The clink of ice in a whiskey glass, the distant wail of a police siren, and the soft jazz piano all contribute to a suffocating, seductive atmosphere.
