Stacklands is a village-building card game where you stack cards to collect food, build structures, and fight creatures. The current version, v1.4.1.20, includes minor bug fixes and improvements to card interactions, such as animal production on magic glue and foil card persistence. Getting Started: Your First 5 Moons
The Golden Rule: Each moon cycle ends with feeding. Ensure you have at least 2 food units per villager (1 for children) to prevent starvation. Initial Actions: Place your Villager on a Berry Bush for food. Punch a Rock and a Tree to get stone and wood.
Sell extra cards to buy the Humble Beginnings pack (3 coins) to get more resources and your second villager (guaranteed by the 7th pack).
Infinite Resources: Build a Lumber Camp (3x Wood, 1x Stone) and a Quarry (3x Stone, 1x Wood) as soon as possible for a steady supply of basic materials. Core Crafting Recipes

What Is Stacklands?
Developed by the Dutch indie studio Sokpop, Stacklands is often described as “Minecraft meets Slay the Spire” — but that doesn’t quite do it justice. In Stacklands, the world, your resources, your villagers, and even your enemies are all represented by cards.
You start with a small deck of basic cards: a Villager card, a Berry Bush card, a Stone card, and a Tree card. You drag and drop cards onto the “island” (the playing field) to interact with them. For example:
- Placing a Villager card next to a Berry Bush card generates Berry cards.
- Dragging a Wood card onto a Villager gives you a Plank card.
- Combining two Villager cards creates a House card, allowing more villagers to spawn.
The goal? Build a thriving settlement, explore new idea cards, defeat mysterious creatures, and eventually close the Great Portal.
Late Game (All DLCs active)
- Build a Dock (Island DLC) + Cargo Ship to automate resource transfer between main land and island.
- Craft the Shadow Amulet (Dark Forest boss drop + Gold) to double your max population cap.
