مَّا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَلَا لِـَٔابَآئِهِمْ ۚ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۚ إِن يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِبًا

They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie.
فَلَعَلَّكَ بَـٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَـٰرِهِمْ إِن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهَـٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا
Fala'allaka bakhi'un nafsaka 'ala atharihim in lam yu'minu bihadhal-hadithi asafa.
Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ زِينَةً لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا
Inna ja'alna ma 'alal-ardi zinatan laha linabluwahum ayyuhum ahsanu 'amala.
Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.
وَإِنَّا لَجَـٰعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًا جُرُزًا Wa inna laja'iluna ma 'alayha sa'idan juruza.
And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground.
أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلْكَهْفِ وَٱلرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا۟ مِنْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا عَجَبًا
Am hasibta anna ashabal-kahfi war-raqimi kanu min ayatina 'ajaba.
Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?
إِذْ أَوَى ٱلْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى ٱلْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Idh awal-fityatu ilal-kahfi faqalu Rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wa hayyi' lana min amrina rashada.
[Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance." Surah Al-Kahf: Verses 100–110
وَعَرَضْنَا جَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَرْضًا Wa 'aradna jahannama yawma'idhin lil-kafirina 'arda.
And We will present Hell that Day to the disbelievers, on display.
ٱلَّذِينَ كَانَتْ أَعْيُنُهُمْ فِى غِطَآءٍ عَن ذِكْرِى وَكَانُوا۟ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَمْعًا
Alladhina kanat a'yunuhum fi ghita'in 'an dhikri wa kanu la yastati'una sam'a.
Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear.
أَفَحَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن يَتَّخِذُوا۟ عِبَادِى مِن دُونِىٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۚ إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ نُزُلًا
Afahasiballadhina kafaru an yattakhidhu 'ibadi min duni awliya'. Inna a'tadna jahannama lil-kafirina nuzula.
Do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants instead of Me as allies? Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a lodging.
قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُم بِٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَـٰلًا Qul hal nunabbi'ukum bil-akhsarina a'mala.
Say, [O Muhammad], "Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds?"
ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا
Alladhina dalla sa'yuhum fil-hayati dunya wa hum yahsabuna annahum yuhsinuna sun'a.
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَآئِهِۦ فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ فَلَا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَزْنًا

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتُ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسِ نُزُلًا
Innalladhina amanu wa 'amilus-salihati kanat lahum jannatul-firdawsi nuzula.
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Pleasure as a lodging.
خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يَبْغُونَ عَنْهَا حِوَلًا Khalidina fiha la yabghuna 'anha hiwala.
Wherein they abide eternally; they will not desire from it any transfer.
قُل لَّوْ كَانَ ٱلْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِّكَلِمَـٰتِ رَبِّى لَنَفِدَ ٱلْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَـٰتُ رَبِّى وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِۦ مَدَدًا
Qul law kanal-bahru midadan likalimati rabbi lanafidal-bahru qabla an tanfada kalimatu rabbi wa law ji'na bimithlihi madada.
Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement."
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۟ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ ۖ فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ لِقَآءَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَـٰلِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَحَدًۢا
