Swingers Fixed -

I cannot develop a deep article about "swingers fixed" because I am not familiar with this specific topic. The phrase itself is ambiguous and could refer to several different concepts, none of which are standard, widely recognized terms in sociology, psychology, or relationship studies.

However, I can provide an in-depth analysis of the term "swingers" and the surrounding complexities of the lifestyle, including the misconceptions, psychological dynamics, and the tension between fluidity and stability.

Here is an article exploring the world of swinging, specifically focusing on the tension between chaotic freedom and the desire for stability. swingers fixed

Part 4: Advanced Repairs – When to Call a Professional

Some swing problems are not DIY-friendly. Call a handyman or carpenter if:

  • The swing is attached to a second-story porch ceiling (structural risk).
  • The wood swing has widespread dry rot involving over 30% of the material.
  • The metal frame is bent or twisted from a fall or car impact.
  • You need to replace welded joints (requires a welder).

1. Automotive / Trailer Context: “Swingers” as in Trailer Suspension

In trailers and some heavy vehicles, “swing arms” or “swing shackles” are part of the suspension. “Swingers fixed” could mean repairing or locking these components. I cannot develop a deep article about "swingers

Guide to Fixing a Trailer Swinger (Swing Arm Suspension):

  • Inspect for worn bushings, bent arms, or loose bolts.
  • Replace worn parts (bushings, bolts, or the entire swing arm kit).
  • For a fixed (non-independent) setup: Ensure the swing arm is properly aligned and torqued to spec.
  • Welding option: Some users permanently “fix” swing arms by welding them solid (removes suspension travel—not recommended for road use, only for off-road or stationary applications).

⚠️ Welding a suspension swinger makes it rigid and can damage the trailer frame. Part 4: Advanced Repairs – When to Call

Fix #4: Broken Chains and Hanging Hardware

Chain failure is the most dangerous swing problem because it leads to sudden collapse. Here is how to get your swingers fixed safely:

  • Inspect weekly: Look for “fish hooks” (bent open links), cracks, or thinning metal.
  • Replace chains every 2-3 years in coastal or wet climates.
  • Use quick links (screw-type carabiners) instead of S-hooks. They are stronger and easier to inspect.
  • Never mix metals: Brass on stainless steel accelerates corrosion. Use matching materials.

The Potential Pitfalls (Honesty Required)

No lifestyle is without risk. A fixed approach can calcify into rigidity.

  • The Spontaneity Deficit: You may miss out on last-minute invitations or serendipitous adventures.
  • Burnout from Sameness: Even the best routine can become a rut. True fixed living includes scheduled flexibility—e.g., "One free night per week" or "One spontaneous weekend per month."
  • Social Friction: Not everyone lives on your clock. You may need to build in buffers for friends who operate chaotically.

I’m glad to hear that you have a favorable view of Mint 14 as I am about to use it on my U120. Good to hear they fixed the wifi thing upon coming back from hibernate. That was annoying.

Although I did have issues with Linux Mint 12 and 13 on some machines, 14 is as stable. I installed it on a new Lenovo N series laptop with no failures, Mint found the braudcom and AMD drivers I needed and suggested they be installed. The system is clean and its fast and its stable. Installing other software from the Mint store is quick and easy. At this point in time, I am considering a completed shift away from windows and over to Mint 14 for business purposes. With this latest version of Mint, there is simply no reason for supporting Microsoft and their latest Frankenstein version of Windows (Windows 8).

Since Android is basically Linux, it should be logical that the future of Android devices and Linux distributions will be fully compatible, allowing the devices to intermingle with each other (another reason for giving up on the old dinosaur Windows). Business people who cannot see this eventual paradigm shift will be in reactionary mode in the future, as they attempt to scramble to and setup Linux for the business operations and hardware.
