The patch is designed specifically for Toukiden Kiwami (Japan) version 1.07.

Prepare the Base Game: You must have a "clean" ISO of the Japanese version (v1.00) of Toukiden Kiwami. Apply the Patch: Download the TKD-KWM-ENG-v3.0.xdelta file.

Use the applyPatch.bat tool (found in the "Tool" folder of the patch archive) to apply the xdelta file to your clean ISO.

Update to v1.07: The patch only works if the game is updated to v1.07. If you have the DLC mod, copy the contents of the NPJH50878 folder in the "DLC" directory to your PSP's memory card path: PSP > GAME > NPJH50878.

If you are a fan of monster-hunting games, you know the name Toukiden. Koei Tecmo’s answer to Monster Hunter is a fantastic blend of fast-paced combat, Japanese mythology, and limb-severing action (Oni purification).

But here’s the problem: Toukiden: Kiwami (the “G/Ultimate” version of the original) was officially released on PS Vita, PS4, and PC. The PSP version? It never left Japan.

That’s where the fan-translation community comes in. Today, I’m breaking down how to get the English-patched ISO of Toukiden: Kiwami for PSP, and more importantly, how to make it run better than the original hardware ever could.

What you need:

A clean, unpatched Japanese ISO of Toukiden: Kiwami (Look for Toukiden Kiwami [JP] [ULJM-06345]).
The English Translation Patch v1.2 (Final release – includes all mission text, weapon descriptions, and UI).
