We Were Here Together: The Complete Walkthrough & Puzzle Guide

We Were Here Together is the third installment in the acclaimed co-op puzzle adventure series by Total Mayhem Games. Stranded in the frozen wasteland of Antarctica, you and a fellow ranger must navigate the treacherous Castle Rock, solve intricate escape room-style puzzles, and uncover the dark secret of the “Blood Pact” before time runs out.

Unlike previous games, Together introduces a linear narrative with specific areas: The Woods, The Mines, The Catacombs, The Village, and The Castle. Communication is everything—if you aren’t talking to your partner, you aren’t progressing.

This walkthrough is designed for both roles in the team. One player is referred to as “Page” (the one who often finds books/documents) and the other as “Torch” (the one with the flare/lantern), but remember that in We Were Here Together, both of you will need to switch items frequently. we were here together too walkthrough

The Mirror Watcher:

Part 1: The Woods – First Contact

Objective: Find the gate key and enter the Castle Rock mines.

You both start in a snowstorm. Immediately, you’ll notice you are separated by a massive chasm. We Were Here Together: The Complete Walkthrough &

Solution:

  1. The Librarian must explore the bookshelves. Each shelf has a colored ribbon (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow). Behind each ribbon is a unique symbol.
  2. The Librarian reads the symbols aloud to the Explorer (e.g., “The red symbol looks like a downward arrow with a circle”).
  3. The Explorer must match those symbols to the symbols on the Rune Key they found. Rotate the Rune Key until the symbol matches what the Librarian describes.
  4. Place the correctly rotated Rune Key into one of the 4 slots on the wall panel. The corresponding lantern on the chandelier will light up.
  5. Repeat for all 4 colors.
  6. Once all lanterns are lit, the chandelier drops a crank. The Explorer uses the crank to open the next door.

Chapter 5 — Docking Bay & Crane Sequence

Objective: Retrieve the second crew member's log using the crane controls.

  1. Docking Bay contains a crane control panel with weight limits and a series of boxes.
  2. Explorer inspects boxes for weights (stenciled kg) and colored tags.
  3. Guide operates crane controls: left/right, raise/lower, clamp open/close.
  4. Use the map by the console showing which box order the crane should lift (leftmost = 1).
  5. Move boxes according to map to reveal a hidden hatch. Lower the hatch and retrieve the log.

Tip: If crane jam occurs, reset by lowering to the floor limit and cycling the clamp. The Mirror Watcher:

Walkthrough:

  1. The Setup: Both of you need to describe the color of the liquid in your respective pipes. It will be either Red, Blue, or Green.
  2. Player A: Insert the Pressure Gauge into the mixing station. It will show a target pressure (e.g., “3.5 Bar”).
  3. Player B: Use the wheel to pump pressure through your pipes. You must tell Player A what color your pipe turns when you pump.
  4. The Chemistry (Crucial):
    • Red + Blue = Purple
    • Blue + Yellow = Green
    • Yellow + Red = Orange
    • You need to combine the chemicals so that Player A’s liquid turns the same color as Player B’s liquid.
  5. Example: If Player A has Red and Player B has Blue, Player A must add Blue to turn Purple. Player B must add Red to also turn Purple.
  6. Once colors match, Player A pulls the Chemical Valve. The ferry will unlock.
  7. Player B pulls the Ferry Lever. The ferry moves to Player A’s side.
  8. Player A crosses. Then Player B recalls the ferry.

We Were Here Together: The Ultimate Full-Game Walkthrough & Strategy Guide

We Were Here Together is the third installment in the acclaimed cooperative puzzle series by Total Mayhem Games. Stranded in the frozen, haunted wasteland of Castle Rock, you and your partner must communicate constantly to solve intricate environmental puzzles, survive deadly threats, and uncover the fate of an lost expedition.

Unlike the previous games, Together introduces a new movement system where both players can explore separate (and often very different) areas. Communication is not just a tool—it is your only weapon.

This walkthrough is designed to be spoiler-light for the story but mechanically dense. Read your part, describe what you see, and never assume your partner sees the same thing.
