Step 2: Locate the Proteus Library Folder
Navigate to the following directory (default installation path): ws2812 proteus library download install
C:\ProgramData\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Professional\LIBRARY

- Open File Explorer → View tab → Check “Hidden items”.

- Opening Proteus → System → Set Paths → Library Path.
4. Using WS2812 in a Circuit
Step 3: Verify the Installation
Once the files are moved, you must verify that Proteus recognizes the new component.
- Open Proteus. (If it was open during the file transfer, close and restart it completely).
- Open the Component Library by clicking the "P" (Pick from Libraries) button on the left sidebar.
- In the Keywords search bar, type WS2812.
- You should now see the component appear in the results list.
- It may appear as "WS2812" or "WS2812B".
- Select it and click OK to place it in your component list.
