Part 2: Plot Summary – The Return of the Demon King
Warning: Mild spoilers ahead.
The story begins in Dholakpur, where Bheem and his friends—Chutki, Raju, Jaggu, and Kalia—are enjoying the harvest festival. Suddenly, the sky turns crimson red. A mysterious earthquake splits the ground near the ancient forest of Mrityu Van (Forest of Death).
The Villains
- Kirmada – Redesigned with a spikier, darker look. His voice is provided by a seasoned theatre actor, giving him a Shakespearean-level menace.
- Tantrik Maharaj – A bumbling side villain who redeems himself by the end. He accidentally swallows a truth potion and reveals Kirmada’s only weakness.
Bheem’s Challenge
Bheem tries to fight Kirmada head-on but fails. For the first time, Bheem’s physical strength is useless. The demon’s magic paralyzes Bheem. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Tuntun Mausi (the wise gossip) reveals an ancient prophecy: Only the one who wields the divine flute can defeat the armored demon.
This leads Bheem on a journey to Vrindavan, where he meets a young, mischievous Krishna.
