Vakratunda Mahakaya Mantra Hindi Png -
The Story: Ganesha’s Blessing of the Broken Trunk
Long ago, in the ancient city of Vidyanagar, lived a sculptor named Dhruva. He was famed for carving the most beautiful murtis (idols) of Lord Ganesha. Yet, despite his skill, Dhruva carried a deep sorrow: his only son, Kavi, was born with a severe speech impediment. Kavi could barely utter a word, and other children mocked him. Dhruva prayed daily, but his heart felt heavy.
One night, Lord Ganesha appeared in Dhruva’s dream. The elephant-headed God did not speak. Instead, He raised His right tusk (the Vakratunda — the curved trunk) and pointed to a blank stone slab.
When Dhruva woke, he understood. He rushed to his workshop and began carving the stone. He did not carve a full idol. Instead, he carved a single, radiant image of Lord Ganesha’s face with the divine mantra written in elegant Hindi Devanagari script below it:
वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥ Vakratunda Mahakaya Mantra Hindi png
(Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha | Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Karyeshu Sarvada ||)
He placed his trembling son Kavi before the stone. Then, Dhruva painted the mantra onto the image in gold, creating what we would call today a "Vakratunda Mahakaya Mantra Hindi PNG" — a luminous, transparent-backed digital or painted icon where the Hindi letters glowed like embers.
As Kavi looked at the image, his father whispered the meaning: The Story: Ganesha’s Blessing of the Broken Trunk
“He who has a curved trunk (Vakratunda), a massive body (Mahakaya),
with the brilliance of a million suns (Suryakoti Samaprabha).
O Lord, remove all obstacles (Nirvighnam) from my every action, always.”
Kavi touched the painted letters. Suddenly, he felt a warm current rise from his throat — the Vishuddhi chakra (throat chakra) awakening. For the first time, he slowly, clearly spoke: "Vakratunda... Mahakaya..."
The boy was not instantly cured of all impediments, but from that day, he could chant the mantra. And as he chanted daily, his confidence grew. Other children gathered around the beautiful Hindi PNG image — which Dhruva printed on palm leaves, then cloth, sharing with all. The mantra’s rhythm loosened Kavi’s tongue. Years later, Kavi became a renowned poet and orator, dedicating his first book to "The Curved Trunk who straightened my words." “He who has a curved trunk (Vakratunda), a
The Deep Spiritual Benefits of Chanting Vakratunda Mahakaya
Why pair a PNG image with chanting? Because the visual presence of the divine name in one’s own language (Hindi) creates a powerful psycho-spiritual impact.
